The album is a rock 3-CD. - 3-CD set of previously unreleased recordings capturing the enigmatic singer-songwriter Shawn Phillips at the height of his powers on stage during the nineteen-seventies. A fair amount of his prolific catalog is represented with the fifty-one songs taken from nine different concerts between 1972 and 1978; All recordings painstakingly restored to make this a fine testament to the artists' ability to deliver knock out performances.
