KOWARI is the project of Belgian violinist Damien Chierici and pianist Louan Kempenaers. Already well known on the Belgian music scene, they first collaborated on a film soundtrack before deciding to create KOWARI together: an instrumental project with electronic influences and a cinematic universe. Their debut album, "The Trail", was recorded in a chalet in the middle of the Belgian Ardennes. Based on their classical training in their compositions, they decided to call upon the electronic music producer Jean Vanesse (Le Motel, DC Salas, Haring,...), from GreenHouse studio to finalise their first album; before being mastered in Berlin at Calyx Studio by Norman Nietsche (Nils Frahm, Gogo Penguin,...). -
