El disco homónimo The Bad Plus es un cambio de rumbo para la banda, que se convierte en cuarteto al incorporar a Ben Monder en la guitarra y Chris Speed en el saxofón, además de eliminar el piano. Me gustó esta evolución, destacando su dinamismo, electricidad y la incorporación de elementos de rock y nuevas sonoridades que demuestran que la banda se niega a estancarse, manteniendo su nivel de exigencia y revitalizando su propuesta tras casi dos décadas. Genial.
