Warchild Ii is an album by Jethro Tull, released in 2022. The long wait is nearly over, we will at long last be releasing Jethro Tull Warchild II for the first timeon vinyl on November 24, 2023. WarChild II is a collection of a number of tracks recorded during the War Child sessions from late 1973 andearly 1974. They have all been mixed by Steven Wilson, and were all included on CD2 of the War Child 40th Anniversary Theatre Edition in 2014. These tracks are on vinyl for the very first time with the running orderchosen by Ian Anderson. The album features Ian Anderson (vocals, flute, acoustic guitar, saxophones), Martin Barre (guitars), John Evan (keys), Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond (bass) and Barriemore Barlow (drums and percussion).

Issued in a matte sleeve and a double-sided printed inner sleeve containing lyrics. The release was planned for January 2022 and then postponed for a September 15, 2022 release. Some stores already got copies in January 2022 and sold them to customers. This is where circulating copies are coming from. The September date was then postponed/withdrawn again while it was not clear for quite long if/when this will get a "proper" release, which eventually took place on November 24th, 2023. Cat# on: sleeve (rear, spine), inner sleeve and center labels. Runouts entirely etched, string ending "1" (variant 2) are mirrored.
