â??Gritâ?? is the third album by Norwegian band Madrugada in four years. This is pounding music without any reliance on volume. Recorded in Berlin with PJ Harvey producer Head, the album builds on Madrugadaâ??s success of their previous albums which sold over 400.000 pieces. The opening track â??Bloodshot Adult Commitmentâ? is almost the trademark song for the â??Gritâ?? album with a relentless Robert BurÃ¥s bass-line and dirty ambience. The album also features one of the band's most well-known songs, the softly crooned atmospheric ballad "Majesty" where minor key acoustic guitars and strings dominate the sound. -
