The Choir of Kingâ??s College, Cambridge was established in the 15th century and is admired the world over as exemplary of the English choral tradition. In our own time, the composer Sir Peter Maxwell Davies described it as "a crowning glory of our civilisation". Over the past century, the choirâ??s Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, broadcast around the world, has become an essential element of Christmas.
