The Legacy - er is geen betere manier om het 30-jarig jubileum van U.D.O. in de internationale metalwereld samen te vatten. 33 nummers uit meer dan drie decennia muziekgeschiedenis gebundeld op twee cd's. Een eerbetoon aan de onvergelijkbare carriÃ¨re van een onvergelijkbare band. De voormalige ACCEPT-leden Herman Frank & David Reece feat. VICTORY-leden Malte Burkert, Mike Pesin en voormalig U.D.O. drummer Francesco Jovino presenteert hun nieuwe keiharde heavy metal band IRON ALLIES. Vooral Herman Frank en David Reece zijn de klassieke combinatie van songschrijvende gitarist en eersteklas tekstschrijver annex zanger, een combinatie die meer dan eens voor opschudding heeft gezorgd in de muziekgeschiedenis. Op 21 oktober verschijnt hun debuutalbum â??Blood In Blood Outâ??. Zoals Herman Frank opmerkt: â??Deze plaat kan niet worden vergeleken met iets dat David of ik in ons verleden hebben geproduceerd. Het staat tegelijkertijd op zichzelf, terwijl het klinkt alsof het uit Ã©Ã©n en dezelfde mal komt. Je zou kunnen zeggen: wij tweeÃ«n hebben elkaar gezocht en gevonden!â? -
