Longpigs were an alternative rock band who came to prominence in the 1990s Britpop scene. Fronted by Crispin Hunt, the group also featured guitarist Richard Hawley, Simon Stafford on bass, and drummer Dee Boyle. Their first album â??The Sun Is Often Outâ?? was released on U2â??s Mother label in 1996 and featured four UK Top 20 singles including â??On And Onâ?? and â??She Saidâ??. Their second and final album â??Mobile Homeâ?? came arrived in 1999 and featured the UK Top 40 singles â??Blue Skiesâ?? and â??The Frank Sonataâ??. Alongside their two studio albums, Longpigs recorded a substantial amounts of B-sides and extra material. These tracks are now gathered together for the first time. Demon Records is proud to present the first vinyl release of Longpigsâ?? 1997 promo compilation â??Extra Longpigsâ??. Newly expanded, the set contains 33 tracks including B-sides, remixes, live recordings, and other rarities from across the bandâ??s career. Mastered by Phil Kinrade at AIR Mastering, pressed on three 140g vinyl, housed in a deluxe triple gatefold sleeve with outer slipcase. -

This version was not supposed to come with a signed insert, that one had a different catalogue number according to www.demonmusicgroup.co.uk, but my copy did, on a printed, singles-sided colour insert. The release doesn't detail who played on each track, or who the members of Longpigs were, I added all 5 members who played in the band.
