Description: | CALIFORNIA TRAIL: The Mayor & Commandante of La Loma in Southern California attempt to force the peons of the area to deed their land over to them. They use starvation in the scheme to monopolize all the food and grain in the district. When the wealthy aristocrat Don Marco Ramirez (Emile Chautard) is killed the assistance to the peasants looks bleak. Ramirez has instructed Santa Fe Stewart (Buck Jones) to take the food to the townspeople and only trust those who are poor. Escapades and western struggles thrive through this adventure. Randall is found guilty and sentenced to hang. Prior to these events, Conners learns that the real culprit is Colonel Jedcott, Randall's assistant.
