Description:Port Chester 1970 is an album by Traffic, released in 2022. The album is a psychedelic LP. -
Vinyl LP pressing. In 1970 Traffic toured the US as a trio - Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi and Chris Wood. The performances on this tour were unlike any other, featuring material from the then-unreleased John Barleycorn Must Die LP. Luckily WNEW-FM recorded the June 26th performance at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, the source of this seven track LP which includes the rare encore of Feelin' Good (Nina Simone). Extensive liner notes are included together with complete recording details.
All tracks recorded live at the Capitol Theatre,Port Chester,New York,USA 26.6.1970 (2nd show) and broadcast on WNEW-FM Runouts are machine etched. Unofficial release made in compliance with local copyright laws, but are not otherwise approved by rights holder(s): "This compilation of broadcast music that has fallen into the public domain has not been authorised by the musicians or their management company"
