 | | Description: | "Kill the Hunted" is the first new studio album by the Power Metal band Leatherwolf from Orange County / California, since "World Asylum" from 2006. The band is known for the use of three lead guitars, the so-called Triple Axe Attack. The new album is as uncompromising and deadly as the title suggests. It marks the latest chapter in the band's often turbulent history. Drummer and driving force Dean Roberts and longtime guitarist Rob Math will be joined by wild new vocalist Keith Adamiak, young shredder Luke Man, who had previously toured with the band, and veteran couple Barry Sparks (bass) and Wayne Findlay guitar), keyboards) (both Michael Schenker Group). "Kill the Hunted" is an 11-course metal feast for the senses, ranging from razor-sharp daggers like the in-your-face opener "Hit the Dirt" and the facekicker "Madhouse" to the anthemic "Only the Wicked," the prog-oriented multi-tiered gem, "The Henchman" (with guest lead guitars by Joel Hoekstra of Whitesnake) to the tense and brooding "(Evil) Empires Fall," whose vibes are reminiscent of the devastating "Kill and Kill Again" from their 1984 debut of the same name. Leatherwolf also teamed up again with sound engineer Randy Burns (Megadeth, Kreator, Helstar) before the files were put in the hands of L.A. mastering legend Tom Baker (Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson, Pantera) for the finishing touches. - | | | Manufacturer No.: |
