Formed in 1989 by drummer Joakim Sterner, the Stockholm based outfit propagated a singular and fearless vision from the very start, confirming their prowess with now legendary debut album â??The Nocturnal Silenceâ?? in 1993. Eschewing the self-conscious amateurism and primitive sonics that many of their peers held dear, NECROPHOBIC established a bold and vivid identity of their own, conjuring a densely melodic but endlessly wicked take on macabre extreme metal that countless lesser bands have since emulated. â??The Third Antichristâ?? is NECROPHOBICâ??s third full-length record and was originally released in 1999. The Swedish black death metal legends are re-launching this album as one out of nine upcoming re-issues in total. For those who like a well-produced mixture of death metal and light black metal ingredients should not give this album a wide berth. Like the earlier releases â??Hrimthursumâ??, â??Death To Allâ?? and â??Satanic Blasphemiesâ?? this year, â??The Third Antichristâ?? was also remastered by Dan SwanÃ¶ at Unisound Studio. The album will be available as Ltd. CD Jewelcase in slipcase & black LP with an A2-sized poster. -

Issued in a standard jewel case with clear tray and 20-page booklet housed in a slipcase. [Hype sticker] The third full-length record by the Swedish Black & Death legends. Originally released in 1999. Remastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound with special Necrogram logo design for collectors on the slipcase spine. Recorded at Sunlight Studio in Stockholm, Sweden on different occasions between December 1998 - May 1999 "Rise of the Infernal" partly recorded at Mushroom Production Studios. "Eye of the Storm" is dedicated to [a3383806].
