Previously unreleased music from the 1977 TV series.
Music by Sidney Sager performed The Ambrosian Singers.
The first copies came with an A2 full colour print of the Les Matthews 'Stones' painting from the TV show, plus a set of postcards of woodcuts from the original 'Children Of The Stones' book.
Due to a 'printing error' many of the ordered postcards were not delivered to the record label, so there approx 300 sets of 6 cards, ~ 200 sets of 5 cards, and ~ 300 sets of 4 cards were released
On 3/3/23 Buried Treasure Records released a further Limited Edition of 100 LPs, which included a double-sided A3 scan of the stone circle painting by Les Matthews (as seen in the series) plus 4 new postcards of engravings from the original Carousel paperback that accompanied the show, an HTV logo sticker, and a 'Happy Day' fridge magnet. |
