Das zehnte Studioalbum der Band, das im September 1978 veröffentlicht wurde, war auch ihr kommerziellstes und brachte der Band ihre erste Platin-Platte ein. Der ikonische Titeltrack war ein internationaler Hit und ein US R&B No.1.
Mit den umwerfenden Leadgitarristen Michael Hampton und Eddie Hazel, der Verkörperung des Funk Bootsy Collins am Bass, Bernie Worrells und Walter â??Junieâ?? Morrisons Keyboardzauberei und vielen mehr wurde das Album vom P-Funk-Genie George Clinton produziert.
