Obvurt ist eine Death-Metal-Band aus Quebec City, Kanada. Der Name der Band steht fÃ¼r obvert (sich widersetzen) und Hurt (verwunden). Dieses Trio wurde 2020 mit Philippe Drouin (ex Unbreakable Hatred), Olivier Pinard (Cryptopsy, Cattle Decapitation) und Samuel Santiago gegrÃ¼ndet. Nach einem schrecklichen Motorradunfall konnte Philippe nicht mehr Gitarre spielen und musste von Grund auf neu lernen, als LinkshÃ¤nder zu spielen.
