Description:Ronni Le Tekro (mainly known by his melodic guitar work with the Norwegian hardrock band TNT, but also worked along Jorn Lande, Terje Rypdal, Mads Eriksen a.o.) and Ledfoot aka Tim Scott McConnell (an American singer-songwriter and 12-string guitarist who lives in Norway since 2000, worked with The Rockats and The Havalinas and developed his own Gothic Blues-style) first met in 2009 when Tim went up to Ronni??s high end recording studio to record his album ??Damned? They immediately connected as artists and as friends, which is why ??Damned? turned into a double record with a ??solo??-version and ??band??-version featuring Ronni??s unique guitar playing style. Shortly after they started doing shows together solely because they enjoyed it. Since then they also worked together on numerous records as studio musicians, producers and songwriters. In 2018 Ronni and Tim started talking about seriously doing a record together and experimented by improvising in the studio. Early 2020 they found the time to pick up on this and ??A Death Divine? was the result some months later. For their second album the duo has received reinforcements; Ledfoot: ??After our debut album together, Ronni and I decided it was time to get serious and put a band together, and what a band and what a wild ride it was!?. ??Limited Edition Lava Lamp? is produced by American veteran H.P. Gundersen, who also played some guitar-licks, and mastered by Winter Lazerus. Together with Trond Augland on drums (Vidar Busk), Markus O. Klyve on keys (Jesu, Ronni Le Tekro) and Anders Odden on bass (Cadaver, Satyricon) they recorded the eight new tracks (+ the cover ??Sister?) during seven magical days at Studio Nyhagen (the studio of Ronni Le Tekro). The result testifies to some very inspired days; the songs are in a sort of American soundscape, and move uncomplicatedly between references to everything from The Beatles, to David Bowie and The White Stripes. Besides emotional, melodic and often acoustic pop, with many lush and inventive compositions, there are always these scary threatening dark blues and hardrock clouds hanging above it! - ..
