I first heard North Americans on an 'Ambient Americana' compilation CD and pretty much sought to buy the albums of every band/musician I heard on that compilation. These guys are definitely ambient and Americana with their all-instrumental, evocative tracks featuring pedal steel guitar. I love the artwork too. I missed out on getting their second album on vinyl (no CD release) but got their first album on vinyl and would recommend getting the larger vinyl format for the artwork. I prefer CDs and appreciated getting this new release on CD.
