Emilie ZoÃ© had more than an album in mind. The five songs from this Â«Companion EPÂ» belong to the same universe as Â«Hello Future MeÂ», which was released earlier this year. They didnâ??t end up on the first part of the release for there was no space left on the vinyl, but display the exact same amount of love, passion and urge thatâ??s always been the artistâ??s trademark. All songs were tracked and mixed during the same session, with the helping ears and hands of Nicolas Pittet on drums, Louis Jucker on arrangements and Kevin Galland on mixing and mastering. From the heavy distortion-soaked climaxes of Save the World and Castle to the naked acoustic intimacy of The Field and Little Hand, Emilie ZoÃ©â??s long time favourites elements are all there, accompanying us throughout a new step in the emotional journey that started with Hello Future Me. The bandâ??s third album hello future me was released in February 2022, entered at the 50th place in the Swiss chart and allowed the band to tour extensively since then, including dozens of major festivals across Europe and even a direct support slot opening for Nick Cave at famous Montreux Jazz Festival at the Stravinsky Auditorium.
