FOR FANS OF: Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes, Rival Sons, Black Stone Cherry, Foo Fighters After their self-titled debut album, which landed on the radio in 2018 with the single NEVER AGAIN, the second album by HORSEFLY ROCKET, the formation around singer and guitarist Kevin Holloway, is now following. BREAK THE CEILING was hard work! The songs were initially composed in the band members' improvised home studios during the pandemic and recorded in four different ones when the studios were accessible again. After some time, a product came out that was stylistically very different from the first record. The work is at home in the classic rock of the 70s. However, the band enriches the whole thing with so many different, sometimes more modern elements that the record sounds beautifully contemporary. A flair for fine, catchy songs is demonstrated. -
