Vinyl LP pressing. Amputechture is the third studio album by American progressive rock band The Mars Volta, originally released in 2006. Produced by guitarist and songwriter Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, the album marks the final appearance of drummer Jon Theodore, and is the first studio album to feature guitarist and sound manipulator Paul Hinojos, formerly of At the Drive-In and Sparta.

All sides end in locked grooves. In this edition were used a 96 kHz 24 bit mix. The creative partnership between Omar Rodríguez-López & Cedric Bixler-Zavala is The Mars Volta. Music written, arranged & directed by Omar Rodríguez-López Lyrics & vocal melodies written by Cedric Bixler-Zavala These compositions were then performed by The Mars Volta Group. All horns sections written by Omar. John Frusciante appears courtesy by Warner Bros. Records. All saxophone parts and solos on Meccamputechture played by Sara Christina Gross. The cover and label paintings (Big Mutant and Dwarf Dancing, respectively) are by Jeff Jordan.
