CAVA like sparkling wine, garage and punk. Dirty guitar riffs, lots of feedback and melodic vocals are not to be missed. But as rough as their music may sound - there is a soft core behind the hard shell. The garage duo released their debut album 'Damage Control in 2023 almost two years after their formation. As the title suggests, it's about nothing less than getting through life and its everyday hurdles as unscathed as possible. In the twelve songs, the two deal with topics such as the search for affection, pain, depression and life (and death) in capitalism. In doing so, they illustrate how a society that is incapable or unwilling to think outside existing categories affects its own well-being as well as interpersonal relationships. CAVA - and they make no secret of this - dream of a better world. -
