Apocalypse Now by Ranestrane, released 20 January 2023, includes the following tracks: "Dossier" and more. This version of Apocalypse Now comes as a 2xLP. The vinyl is pressed as a opaque disc. Another vinyl is pressed as a opaque disc. -

The vinyl release of this album was fist made available on January 13th, 2023, more than six months after the CD [r23360129] edition. Presented as "Double Vinyl De Luxe Edition" and "Limited Edition" respectively on the label's own store (https://store.maracash.com) and on the label's BandCamp page (https://maracashrecords.bandcamp.com). Presumably printed in 300 copies as the colored vinyl releases of the previous [r11725033] trilogy. This release consists of two heavy weight (~140gr.) black vinyl LPs in a gatefold cover. The records are protected by plain white paper jackets. The set is completed by two double-sided color printed sheets, one with the original Italian lyrics and the other with their English translation. As the backdrop of the four sides of the lyrics sheets, the individual portraits of the musicians, captured in a movie-inspired setup, with their heads emerging from what appear to be the waters of a river surrounded by flames. Albeit the recording is supposedly the same, there is no 1-to-1 correspondence between the track listing on this LP version and the track listing of the CD edition: - On the back of the LP gatefold cover, only the main ("index") tracks are listed, for a total of 9. - On the labels of the vinyl records, the tracks are instead listed in a mix between main tracks and sub-tracks, with no graphical distinction between them, for a total of 12 titles. - In particular, the track 'Napalm' that is one of the 9 main tracks, is not listed on the records' labels and is instead split across its sub-tracks onto Side A ('Arc Light', 'Kilgore Pt. I') and Side B ('Apache', 'Kilgore Pt. II') of the first LP. - All the other titles printed on the record labels of the LP edition are main tracks. Recorded in Rome at La Genesi Studio and The Shellseeker Studio between 2021-2022. The work is inspired by [a980417]'s film "Apocalypse Now".
