bezeichnet. Die verstörende, apokalyptische Quasi-Realität der Texte des Albums wird durch die Musik ergänzt und verstärkt.
"Drive It Like It's Stolen", das von Hause zusammen mit seinem jüngeren Bruder Tim geschrieben wurde, ist - genau wie die drei Vorgängeralben und Tims Debütalbum von 2022 - die nächste Phase ihrer kreativen Partnerschaft. Die dritte Veröffentlichung auf dem eigenen Label der Brüder schüttelt die Erwartungen durcheinander und baut gleichzeitig auf dem Sound und dem Ruf auf, den sich Hause in den letzten zehn Jahren erarbeitet hat.
"Drive It Like It's Stolen" wurde von David Axelrod produziert und abgemischt, und - wie Blood Harmony - von Will Hoge produziert und bei Santi Sound in Nashville aufgenommen. - .. LIKE IT'S STOLEN / CYAN BLUE VINYLLimited cyan blue colored vinyl LP pressing. 2023 release. Drive It Like It's Stolen is Dave's sixth solo LP, following 2021's Blood Harmony, and he describes the album's style as "post-apocalyptic Americana." Drive It Like It's Stolen was produced by Will Hoge and is inspired in part by Dave's experience as a father.500 pressed on Galaxy Blue.
Update: not sure the exact impact on present numbers but this was emailed out by Dave to those who were not getting a copy due to lost shipment from pressing plant. Less than 500 exist.

Dave here. One of the great joys of having our own label is there's no barrier for me to communicate with those of you who support our family business by buying a record. One of the bummers is that sometimes I've got to send an email like this.
SO, when we received our vinyl shipment for Drive It Like It's Stolen from the plant, there was a box (20 pcs) of the limited Galaxy Blue missing. We contacted the plant and the conclusion was it was just delayed, then after a while, it was just lost in the mail and they don't do repressings of such a small quantity. I know you've been waiting since January and rather than go through the trouble of waiting for even longer on vinyl plant bureaucracy, I wanted to just let you know what's happening and what we can do...
