Bad Blood was released on 4th March 2013. Bastilleâ??s debut album charted at #1 on the UK Albums chart, spending 3 weeks at the top, and is certified triple platinum in the UK, and platinum in the US and several other countries. The 2014 Brit Awards nominated â??British Album of the Yearâ?? features the singles â??Overjoyedâ?, â??Bad Bloodâ?, â??Flawsâ?, â??Pompeiiâ?, â??Laura Palmerâ?, â??Things We Lost in the Fireâ? and â??Oblivionâ?. Pompeii was the 4th single released from the album and was the bandâ??s breakthrough song, peaking at #2 on the UK Singles Chart. It became the eleventh best-selling song that year, and, until June 2014, was the countryâ??s most streamed single of all time. The song was nominated for â??British Single of the Yearâ?? at the 2014 BRIT Awards. A popular dance remix of the track by Audien was nominated for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classic at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the album, UMR have worked with Dan Smith to produce a gatefold sleeve packaging, a coloured LP (coloured vinyl) this will also include a brand new 7â? vinyl with 2 never-before heard demos, â??Racing Heartâ? (Laura Palmer Demo) / â??Poetâ? (Danâ??s Bedroom Demo) located in Danâ??s parentsâ?? loft. A 16-page 12Ã?12 book featuring new artwork, notes from each member of the band and unseen images. The artwork will also feature handwritten annotations and track-list from Dan. Inside the gatefold will also be a 12Ã?12 two-sided insert with an alternative cover and unseen image.
