"Here Comes Everybody" is a seminal album by the Scottish post-punk band The Wake, originally released in 1985 and now available on CD through Factory Benelux. This edition features remastered tracks that showcase the band's signature blend of shimmering guitars, melodic basslines, and introspective lyrics?a sound that bridges the gap between melancholic new wave and atmospheric indie pop. The Wake formed in Glasgow in 1981 and quickly became known for their evocative songwriting and association with legendary labels like Factory Records. Their music has influenced generations of alternative bands, earning them cult status within the genre. Factory Benelux, renowned for its dedication to preserving classic independent music from the '80s era, ensures high-quality releases that respect both artists' legacies and audiophile standards.
