Limited red colored vinyl. 'Lovedrive' marked the beginning of a new era in the history of The Scorpions. Guitarist Uli Jon Roth had left the band for good in 1978 after the band's first Japan tour. The new man, Matthias Jabs, also came from Hanover and alongside him, Michael Schenker also joined the band in the studio. He contributed the solo parts on the songs 'Lovedrive', 'Another Piece of Meat' and 'Coast to Coast'. The result was a studio album with three exceptional guitarists and the music was correspondingly breathtaking.
