The album was recorded in 1982 at Rainbow Sound, Inc. in Dallas, Texas, and features skilled modern soul instrumentals with gospel-inspired lyrics that reflect the band's dedication to their message. Standout tracks like «Who Are You» and the Chaka Khan-inspired «Touch Me Again» showcase the band's virtuoso performances and unique blend of soul and gospel music.
