After bursting upon the reggae scene in 1980 with her anthemic hit single, 'I'm So Sorry', Carroll Thompson cemented her reputation as one of the UK's brightest new musical talents with her seminal debut album, 'Hopelessly In Love', as well as a series of self-produced singles that placed high in the UK reggae charts. Two years later, she released her eponymously titled second long-player, which reinforced her standing as the new Queen Of Lovers Rock.
