They debuted in 1978 with the single 'Denki Kurage' and released their third single 'Tsuri no DJ' in 1980. This is a one-of-a-kind collaboration where Yamashita Tatsuro's sophisticated city pop-style song resonates with Daddy Takechiyo's lyrics that mock radio DJs. The B-side is a completely different song, the soulful 'Easy Girl,' which mixes pop music, funk, and Latin with tight brass sections at key points.
