"Pale Folklore" by Agalloch is a landmark album in the realm of atmospheric metal, now available as a deluxe 2LP edition on smoke marbled vinyl. Originally released in 1999, this debut full-length record weaves together elements of black metal, folk, and post-rock to create an immersive soundscape that has captivated listeners for decades. The haunting melodies and poetic lyrics evoke themes of nature, melancholy, and mysticism?hallmarks that have defined Agalloch?s legacy. This special pressing from Eisenwald ensures audiophiles experience every nuance with enhanced clarity and depth. Agalloch was formed in Portland, Oregon in 1995 and quickly became one of the most influential bands within the atmospheric metal scene. Their unique blend of genres set them apart from their peers; albums such as "The Mantle" (2002) and "Ashes Against the Grain" (2006) further cemented their reputation for innovation and emotional resonance. Over two decades, Agalloch built a devoted global following before disbanding in 2016. Eisenwald is renowned for its dedication to high-quality releases within the realms of dark music?including black metal, neofolk, and ambient genres. Vagner C. - 24/Dec/2023 5 of 5 Stars!
Excellent reissue of a great album, the first by Agalloch... Pale Folklore deserved a special reissue, and this is on the same level of the great record. Nice graphic work. Double vinyl.
