Captured live on their very first European tour, this recording comes from their show at Hammersmith Odeon, London, on June 20, 1987, on a bill completed by Agent Steel, Onslaught and Atomkraft. Features liner note contributions from the likes of Ryan Waste (Municipal Waste) and Howard 'H' Smith (Acid Reign). Formed in 1984 in New York, co-founded by bassist Danny Lilker after he left Anthrax following the release of their debut album. Signed to Combat Records, Nuclear Assault released their classic debut 'Game Over' in 1986. 1987 saw the release of an EP, 'The Plague', released to coincide with the tour from which this live set is taken. Two more classic full lengths followed; 'Survive' (1988) and 'Handle With Care' (1990), before the band fragmented. They remain sporadically active to this day. Lilker went on to find further success with Brutal Truth, as well as with his ex-Anthrax bandmates Scott Ian and Charlie Benante in Stormtroopers of Death."Radiation Sickness" is a powerful CD release by the legendary thrash metal band Nuclear Assault, brought to you by Plastic Head. This album captures the raw energy and political edge that have defined Nuclear Assault since their formation in 1984. Known for their aggressive riffs and socially conscious lyrics, the band has been a driving force in the American thrash scene, with classic albums like "Game Over," "Survive," and "Handle With Care." Their music addresses topics such as environmental destruction and nuclear war, making them stand out among their peers. The label behind this release, Plastic Head, is renowned for distributing high-quality rock and metal releases worldwide. With decades of experience supporting both established acts and underground sensations, Plastic Head ensures fans receive authentic products from some of the most influential artists in heavy music. | | No. of tracks: |
