Predominantly known as the musical genesis of eventual home 4-track folk pioneer Linda Smith, The Woodsâ?? organically experimental blend of folk style and pop sensibilities epitomize 80s NYC underground music. Included here is their lone 1985 single plus a full albumâ??s worth of previously unreleased recordings and a zine-style insert filled with liner notes and ephemera. -

Tri-fold card sleeve with 12-page booklet. Tracks 1 and 9 were released as the [r=3544712] 7" (Justine, 1985) Tracks 2 to 8 and 10 to 13 are previously unreleased recordings (1986). Tracks 10 to 13 are CD-only bonus tracks.
