Description:Thornafire's Leprosario Lazareto" surpasses its predecessor, "Magnaa" (2014) in many ways, and puts them in a privileged position among the best in the Death Metal genre. Because on their previous album, the music was more classical, but in this last, there are more diverse places and layers that are perfect for any Death Metal fan with that heavy, raw, rough heart. A big comeback and as always, no half measures or silence, just Death Metal until on the jugular. The acoustic guitar in "The Network that Keeps Us Together" is clearly an influence of the groups of the 90s and to name only names; Abramelin, Purtenance and many others have done it on their first albums. So what is curious in the music of Thornafire is that it has strong technical doses, with a wall of guitars influenced by Immolation, but which are only part of his music, since the technical level of the songs is enormous, but not on them. soft notes or with clear effects to call Technical Death Metal, because the essence of everything is in the way the guitar manages to be brutal and with many groove sensations like in "The Great Deceiver", without forgetting that in songs like "Saturn" with synths, they blow your mind. Moreover, the first mentioned has elements that completely border on Heavy Metal in its harmonics, and here the difference between Symphonic and Deathcore bands is clearly noted, since the drums are loud and intense, but everything that happens at the interior is included in the guitars. , and it's not pompous like in other trendy bands. Recommended if you like: Eucharist, Bathory, Funebrarum, old Krisiun & Immolation -
