Description:This is TELEX debut album, a pop-historical album, gaining international attention in it's fun approach to the popular New Wave of that time. The worldwide hit single â??Moskow Diskowâ?? created the breakthrough for the band. Three young Belgian musicians - Marc Moulin, Dans Lackman and Michel Moersâ?? created a new form of music by using clever little, playful melodies true synthscapes and Electronic sound waves in 1979. The band mixed aesthetics of Disco, Punk and experimental Electronic music, and released a stripped-down synthesized cover version of â??Twist à St. Tropezâ?? by Les Chats Sauvages. Followed covers of Plastic Bertrand and Sly Stone. -
