Das vierte Studioalbum von Grift, "Dolt land" ("Verborgenes Land"), ist eine tiefgründige Erkundung der Verbundenheit des Menschen mit der Natur. Mit folkloristischen Klängen und zu Herzen gehenden Texten nimmt das multidisziplinäre schwedische Musikprojekt den Hörer mit auf eine Reise in das Herz der Wildnis. "Dolt land" weicht von dem eher metal-orientierten "Budet" (2020) ab und setzt stattdessen den akustischen Ansatz der EPs "Vilsna andars boning" (2018) und "Vilsna andars utmark" (2022) fort. Wie die beiden vorgenannten Seven-Inches ist auch "Dolt land" eine Hommage an den Kinnekulle - einen Berg, dessen Natur, Legenden und Traditionen Grift seit der Gründung des Projekts im Jahr 2011 als Hauptinspirationsquelle dienen. Erik spielt alle Instrumente selbst - darunter Akustikgitarre, Melodica, Glockenspiel, Analogsynthesizer und Perkussion - und hat außerdem Naturgeräusche gesampelt, um ein wirklich eindringliches Hörerlebnis zu schaffen. Beruhigend und mitreißend, aber dennoch wild und ungezähmt: Grifts beschwörende Musik wird Fans von Sangre de Muerdago, Anna von Hausswolff und Nebelung ansprechen. -
