We mark the inclusion of Infernal to the Hellstain Productions roster with their cd-digipack-release â??Eternal Disharmonyâ?. This is a compilation of 10 selected songs from the three demos that Infernal spawned into the underground in 1997, 1999 & 2000. This is old school â??90s Norwegian black metal! 25 years after the band was formed we honor their history with this release, before we continue into a new era together. The material on â??Eternal Disharmonyâ? has been remastered as an album to bring forth the true quality of the olden spirit, and we are proud to finally present this great material of Norwegian black metal history to a wider audience and new fans! The history of Infernal starts with the band Thoth which spawned the two musicians Baal and Jontho. In 1994 they split up, and Jontho went on to form Ragnarok, while Baal created his solo-project Baalberith. After Baal was joined by session members, in the winter of 1997, they decided to lay Baalberith to rest and formed Infernal instead. In the same year they recorded the demo â??Spread Thy Wingsâ?. Different labels showed their interest, and a label contract was signed, so in 1998 they entered the studio again for the â??Holy Unholyâ?-demo as a step up to record their debut album. In due time it became evident though that the label fa After several line-up changes and unfruitful new rehearsals, Infernal settled into the dust in 2001. Baal was still involved in other projects, but in 2019 he decided to bring back Infernal to life, with members from bands as Dauden, Vinterfyrste, Winterlord, Befouled, Dirty Old Gentleman and Drephjard. The band has now joined with Hellstain Productions, who will release a compilation of remastered songs from their three original demos, titled â??Eternal Disharmonyâ?. The cd is a tribute to the bandâ??s past and marks the beginning of a new era for Infernal. With a mix of ideas from their silent years and current inspirations, the band is ready to forge ahead and create a new chapter in their musical journey. -
