Description:Deluxe four CD + NTSC/Region 0 edition. Come 'Riding On The L&N' with a steaming hot band whose progressive rock/blues was a hit during the R&B boom. Contains unreleased and unheard Steamhammer material from 1969 to 1972. Four hours of recordings restored and mastered by Eroc. 32-page booklet includes unseen photos and an in-depth essay by Chris Welch. Formed in 1968 in Worthing, Sussex by vocalist Kieran White and bass guitarist Steve Davy, Steamhammer was augmented by guitarist Martin Pugh and later by Martin Quittenton after the band's arrival in London. Their progressive blues/rock style and original material driven by drummer Mick Rushton proved an instant hit with club-goers and festival audiences.
