from the Full House sessions with two previously unreleased

Featuring Johnny Griffin (tenor sax), Wynton Kelly (piano), Paul Chambers
(double bass) and Jimmy Cobb (drums), this collection has new liner notes
by journalist Bill Milkowski and is mastered from the original analog tapes
by Joe Tarantino.
Both formats offer a variety of alternate takes and outtakes, including two
previously unreleased performances. These are an alternate take of
Montgomeryâ??s â??S.O.S.â? and the complete unedited master take of â??Full
House,â? with the restoration of Montgomeryâ??s original, but previously
replaced, guitar solo. - .. The original album version (track A1) is a composite of two takes in which Montgomery's solo from another take was edited in. Track C1 is the complete unedited master take, with Montgomery's originally played solo restored.
