Two honky tonk platters of newly discovered recordings from the legendary singer-songwriter when she was performing country music under her birth name, Sherry Lee Myers. Recorded by her mother directly from the radio! -

Mastered and restored by Joe Lizzi Sourced from reels discovered and provided by Geoffrey Weiss Art & design by Jon Hunt Compilation produced by Jay Millar and Jim Pierson Project managed by Brian Thompson and Zoe Willard This collection contains live-on-the-radio performances by Jackie DeShannon from 1956 and 1957 when she was age 15 and 16 broadcast on WMRO in Aurora, Illinois. These recordings have never been issued before. The majority of these recordings were recorded to quarter inch tape from the original radio broadcasts by Jackie DeShannon?s mother Sandra Jean.
