Psychedelic Porn Crumpets are back with their sixth studio album. The Australian psych-rock five-piece have been working on â??Fronzoliâ?? â?? a title meaning 'something unnecessary added as decorationâ?? â?? since the release of 2022â??s â??Night Gnomesâ??. â??Dilemma Us From Evilâ?? is the latest single to be released from the record and is a prime example of Psychedelic Porn Crumpetsâ?? mind-bending blend of heavy melodic guitars and harmonic lyrics and eccentric songwriting oeuvre. It follows the release of singles â??Nootmare (K-I-L-L-I-N-G) Meow!â?? and â??(I'm a Kadaver) Alakazamâ??, which were released earlier this year. The record surges with the Perth-based bandâ??s over-the-top, glittery sound, drawing influences from the likes of classic rock behemoths Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, as well as electronic experimental jazz. These rock influences are firmly on display in â??Fronzoliâ??, with thrashy grunge tracks such as â??Sierra Nevadaâ?? and the frenetic â??Hot! Heat! Wow! Hot!â?? showcasing the bandâ??s hyperactive guitars and offbeat lyrics. The band, who started out as friends, before coming together to pride themselves on their joyful and unpolished messiness when it comes to songwriting and production. â??This record is my favourite creation to date,â? says songwriter and frontman Jack McEwan, â??Every nuance has been discussed, slandered and carefully contorted into place, it sporadically colours outside the lines, so you're left with these extraverted squiggles.â? - DOLPHIN SPLASHDOWN EDITION

Limited to 250 copies. Gatefold sleeve Track A1 appears as "Nootmare (K.I.L.L.I.N.G) Meow!" on the rear sleeve and as "Nootmare (K-I-L-L-I-N-G) Meow!" on the inner sleeve. Tracks are ordered sequentially. Inner sleeve message reads "Cheers for grabbing a copy of our new record! We've ventured off on our own this time round. No label, no big boy bank, no safety netto fall into when things finally fall apart. Fronzoli is 100% organically produced, recorded in a Perth bedroom, packaged and distributed from a Perth lounge-room, mixed and mastered in a make-shif Perth home studio which is basically a bedroom, as home-grown and as DIY as it comes.
