As the first Chinese and youngest pianist in history to win the International Chopin Piano Competition, he has been at the forefront of classical piano art in China for over 25 years, continuing to explore the beauty of music with unflagging passion. Recorded at the Great Hall of the Salzburg Mozarteum in November 2023, the album takes listeners on a journey through Mozart's musical landscapes, a realm of music closest to Yundi's heart. Titled "Mozart: The Sonata Project - Salzburg", the album features several of Mozart's most cherished piano sonatas, including Sonata K.310, K.331 ("Alla Turca"), Fantasia K.475, and Sonata K.457.
