Recorded primarily and hard disc editing at Atlantis Studios (Melbourne, Australia). Some vocals recorded and overdubbed at The Instrument (London, UK) in August 1999. Drums on track A1 and A4 recorded at Abbey Road (London, UK). Loops of [a=Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds] improvisations on tracks A2 and B3 recorded at AAV (Melbourne, Australia). The loop used on B1 could not be identified. Please contact Mute Song Limited with any information. Strings and some vocals recorded at Tricatel (Paris, France) in May 2000. Mixed at Atlantis Studios (Melbourne, Australia) in June 2000 and January 2001. Mastered at Sing Sing Studios (Richmond, Australia). Vinyl edition doesn't feature The Petrol Wife but that track is included via the download coupon glued on inner sleeve.
