Ndongo Lô is one of the latest revelations on the Senegalese music scene. A latecomer to the music scene, and despite a difficult childhood, he very quickly caught the public's attention thanks to his personality as a good man attached to values such as love, friendship, family and sharing. He was a man inhabited by his art, very respectful of his public. When his health declined, he was determined to keep to his commitments and go the distance for those who came to see him. He was a modest man with a big heart, who was not motivated by money; all that mattered was his love of music. His life was short but intense. Having embodied "pikinity" like no other, with his own sensibility, Ndongo Lô deserved a tribute book retracing his life to offer him as a model to the many young people who sink into despair.
