| | Description: | Metal Hall of Fame inductee, Blaze Bayley, releases a brand new studio album Entitled â??Circle of Stoneâ??.
The album features guest vocalist Niklas Stalvind of Swedish metalheads Wolf, alongside a variety of additional vocal & instrumental contributors.
Early in 2023, and in fact just 2 days before the start of a European tour, Blaze suffered a serious heart attack. Quadruple bypass surgery followed & after several months of this roller-coaster year, Blaze has returned to the live circuit, in good health & singing better than ever. Bring on 2024!

Tears In Rain: "Inspired by the character Roy, played by Rutger Hauer, in the wonderful sci-fi movie Blade Runner. Roy is a Replicant with a pre-programmed short life span. He desperately searches for a way to extend his life. His final scene is possibly the most moving and emotional scene of any sci-fi movie. The Blade Runner movie is based on a book by Philip K Dick called 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep'. Some songs on my Silicon Messiah album were inspired by that book."
Rage: "Inspired by the Welsh folk tale of Prince Llywelyn and Gelert."
The Year Beyond This Year: "Maybe it will take me a while to get where I want to go. First I have to let go of the regrets and sadness that keep me looking back instead of ahead. Then slowly and gently prepare myself for the future I want, however humble or glorious it is. There is no rush. A small step is still a step. I will Just try to make each small step a step in the right direction."
The Ghost In The Bottle: "The ghost in this song is the combination of wrong and distorted thoughts I sometimes have, that hold me back. I like to imagine I can catch all those bad thoughts and trap them in a magical bottle. Then I won't expect it to be bad. If it's good try to enjoy it, if it's bad I will try to endure it. However it turns out, I know I have try the most of it because it could be my last tomorrow. Sometimes I try to think that a bad day is just a test. I'll never know how strong I really am until I am tested. And I won't know it is a test until it is over. When things get tough for you just try to hold on the best you can . Please, for me, just hold on. One more second, one more minute, one more day. Just hold on the best you can."
