Founded amidst the pandemic by flutist Taya KÃ¶nig-Tarasevich and cellist Bartolomeo Dandolo Marchesi, this ensemble swiftly attracted the most talented next-generation baroque musicians, earning a reputation as one of the world's foremost ensembles. Through collaborations with scientists, sound engineers, filmmakers, and innovative marketers, the ensemble has developed a distinctive mode of communication, reaching diverse global audiences. VeritÃ creatively transforms lesser-known gems of baroque architecture, such as castles, into immersive pavilions. Following their debut album, The German Album, the ensemble presents the second album of the series: The Italian Album. Featuring a repertoire of baroque compositions by Corelli, Vivaldi, Albinoni, and Galuppi, VeritÃ invites listeners on a captivating journey through time. The album is once again concluded by a specially commissioned neo-baroque piece from one of their composers in residence, Nicola Canzano. -

The tracks on this album were recorded in four different baroque castles. This baroque repertoire is played on historical instruments and recorded in halls for which is was originally composed for.
