She set out on her solo career with this collection in 1978, leading the way with the hit â??Iâ??m Every Woman,â? which propelled the release to be certified platinum in the US and earn her another GrammyÂ® nomination for best R&B vocal performance. In November of 2023, she will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the end of a year that marked her 50th in the business. In 2024, we will launch a campaign to reissue her solo records, some physically, some digitally only, starting with the self-titled Chaka, which will feature a new remix of â??Iâ??m Every Womanâ? by DJ Rashida featuring Sheila E., liner notes from Emmy-winning journalist Kelley Carter, and bonus tracks from the original sessions. -
