About the Artist:
Type O Negative was an American gothic metal band formed in Brooklyn, New York in 1989. The band consisted of Peter Steele (vocals, bass), Kenny Hickey (guitar), Josh Silver (keyboards), and Johnny Kelly (drums).
Type O Negative achieved critical and commercial success with their 1993 album "Bloody Kisses," which was certified platinum by the RIAA and spawned the hit singles "Black No. 1" and "Christian Woman." The band released six studio albums in total, selling over 3 million records worldwide.
Type O Negative was known for their dark and atmospheric music, which often dealt with themes of death, depression, and religion. The band's sound was characterized by Peter Steele's deep, operatic vocals, heavy guitar riffs, and atmospheric keyboards.
