| | Descripción: | About a month after this concert-a benefit show for striking firefighters-Strummer would be gone. Not only did that tragic fact make this a momentous occasion in retrospect, but so did the part where Mick Jones jumped up on stage and reunited with Joe for the first time since their Clash days (sadly, it would never happen again). This November 2002 London concert now arrived in it's first proper, fully packaged vinyl release on clear vinyl (it's 2012 Record Store Day release was an extremely limited edition in a very DIY clear sleeve). Tht edition quickly sold out, so if you missed your shot don't sleep on your chance to get it on standard black. "Coma Girl," "Johnny Appleseed," "Get Down Moses," "Tony Adams," the Mescaleros' versions of the Clash classics "(White Man) In Hammersmith Palais," "I Fought the Law," "Police on My Back," "Police & Thieves" and more including the three songs with Mick. BMG., JOE STRUMMER & THE MESCALEROS LIVE AT ACTON TOWN HALLA Dark Horse Records releases Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros iconic Live at Acton Town Hall concert, remastered by Grammy Award Winner Paul Hicks (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, George Harrison) and available on 2LP black vinyl. A Recorded on November 15, 2002, the concert was a benefit for striking firefighters and would be one of Joe's last performances (he passed away a month later.) A The performance features a 3-song reunion with Strummer's former bandmate from The Clash, Mick Jones, who reunited on stage for the first time in almost twenty years. It would also be their last time on stage together.
