Vor etwa zwei Jahrzehnten in Portland, OR, gegründet, gelang Blitzen Trapper mit dem 2008 erschienenen Album "Furr" der internationale Durchbruch, der ihren Status an der Spitze des modernen Indie-Folk-Revivals festigte.
