BIOGRAPHY MALPHAS is a symphonic death metal band located in Philadelphia, which was in 2012 by singer/guitarist Paul DeSanctis and drummer Eric Dunleavy. The duo added guitarist Damian DeFrancesco in 2014 and self-released «The Conjuring» EP the following year followed up by playing gigs around the greater Philadelphia area in support of national acts. In 2017 MALPHAS landed their first US tour with Tengger Cavalry and Felix Martin gaining national attention. Their debut full-length album «The 39th Spirit» was released by Via Nocturna Records on October 26th, 2018. In 2019 bassist Joshua DeJesus joined the band and they embarked on their first European tour in support of Keep of Kalessin and Shade Empire. After Covid MALPHAS toured the west coast with fellow M-Theory Audio label mates Helsott in 2022 and recorded their brand new album «Portal» with Chris Kelly (Galactic Empire, Baby Metal, Ice Nine Kills) at the helm...recording, mixing, and mastering the album to be debuted on M-Theory Audio March 29th, 2024.
